I registered this domain in 2005 originally with thoughts to list information on my research, projects and interests. Basically, I wanted the website just about myself and share that with my friends and family members. I, however, realized as I worked on this website that I just wanted much more than that. I wanted to write about many subjects, not just about me. And, I wanted to share not just with people in my circle but others on the Internet as well. As I noticed popularity of blogs, I decided to create a blog instead of a website.

I just did not want any blog, I wanted a blog that people found interesting, helping, educating, reliable, entertaining, and inspiring. I also believed that if I wanted to do this right, I needed the right technology to support my ambitions. I wanted pages that loaded fast and presented in a format that is user-friendly. My experience with other blog writing programs is that they just don't give you complete freedom on what you want to show and how. Such programs or scripts are written to support users who cannot author HTML and other web scripting languages. Being expert in web scripting languages and web technologies, I decided I should write a blog authoring tool myself. After a few months of work a few hours a week, I came up with a technical solution that outputs everything that you see on this page.

Technical blog development details aside, what can you expect from this blog? My goal here is to share with you a wealth of knowledge and tips that I have found successful in my life and hopefully those will be helpful to you as well. I here cover variety of topics (each topic is categorized, for instance, computer stuff is under computer category, school stuff is under education); each post for these topics is derived from my personal experience or what I think about the subject. Each post takes me nearly two or more hours to write and I enjoy this very much. Feedback and comments from many blog readers around the globe is what keeps me motivated in writing and making this blog even more successful. Needless to say information here is free, you don't have to buy any article or post to read. You just find the page you want to read and start enjoying.
