1. Make it your habit to actively participate in class. Doing so will encourage you to complete your assignments which in turn will improve your grades. Your participation helps you build your credibility in the class. If you choose not to speak, your instructor and other students will never know what you think. I always participated in all of the classes I took this is why my teachers in high school and instructors in college always knew my name (most likely) before they learned the names of other students.
